Mechanical Engineer

Hyperion Automation is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who can combine strong custom machine-design capability with practical day-to-day leadership.

This is a player-coach position. You will contribute directly to complex mechanical design work while setting technical direction, reviewing designs, coaching team members, and helping the team make practical, well-reasoned decisions.

This is a discipline-level technical leadership role without direct reports. The Engineering Manager will retain formal people management, staffing, compensation, department priorities, and overall Engineering accountability.

Automation Engineer

Hyperion Automation is seeking an Automation Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership within our Engineering team. This is a player-coach role. You will contribute directly to complex custom automation projects while also guiding technical work, reviewing deliverables, coaching team members, and helping the team make timely, well-reasoned decisions.

We are looking for someone with strong technical depth in industrial automation who can also raise the performance of the people around them. The right candidate can recognize technical risk, challenge assumptions, provide clear direction, and take ownership when execution or technical direction becomes unclear.

Application Engineer

The Application Engineer will lead the development of technical solutions, concepts, and proposals for complex automation projects, with a focus on turnkey systems, AMRs, robotic cells, vision systems, retrofits, and integrations.

This role blends deep technical applications engineering with client-facing sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate will own concepts with minimal oversight, lead key proposal presentations, and support process improvement within the Sales applications function.
