Recently we’ve had the opportunity to welcome to our team Wyatt DeLeeuw as Automation Engineer.
Wyatt brings 5 years of experience as an installation and controls technician after cutting his teeth at Mollers NA, a palletization and materials-handling company based in Grand Rapids, MI.
In his new role, he will be supporting the team in the areas of electrical design, programming and control logic design. Wyatt originally hails from Middleville, MI but relocated to Grand Rapids where he pursued travel-installation work with Mollers and earned his associates degree in science in 2017.
Culture & Growth
“Hyperion has a cool culture and great opportunities for growth,” said Wyatt when asked what originally drew him to the company. “They’re doing a lot of high end stuff, and I’m looking forward to learning and being challenged,” he said.
DeLeeuw joins us just as the company completes our move into our newly constructed 15,000 ft² space in Holland. “As we take on increasingly large challenges, we’re excited to welcome sharp new team members like Wyatt to help us continue to grow,” said Jeremy Wright, President of Hyperion Automation.
About Wyatt
Outside of the workplace, Wyatt spends his free time lifting, skiing and working on DIY projects like converting a bus he purchased into an RV. He also enjoys spending time with his “trophy wife” Fiona and their Newfoundland dog Lear. “I like to say that I’m the most married-up man in any room,” Wyatt said, “please make sure that’s in the blog post.”
