Hyperion is excited to announce that Brad Dykstra has joined the team as an automation mechanical engineer/machine designer.
Born and raised in Michigan, Brad got his associates in mechanical design from Grand Rapids Community College. Previously, he spent twelve years working for an automation company in Grand Rapids.
A proclaimed tinkering enthusiast, Brad enjoys messing with anything that moves (including boats, cars, and motorcycles) in his free time. Currently, he’s awaiting the official confirmation that he broke the world record for snowboarding the most ski resorts in the shortest amount of time—visiting twenty-three Michigan resorts in twenty-four hours.
After being referred by an employee at Hyperion, Brad started his new position on September 15th. He said, “I’m excited to work with like-minded people that share the same passions.”
With over a decade in the continual rhythms of his previous position, he’s looking forward to digging into the new trades Hyperion offers. He will undoubtedly develop a new set of skills in this exciting career trajectory.
